Speed Queen BBQ has been there since I was a kid. I'm in the 50s now and it's still here, still delicious. Although I don't eat pig anymore, I found other options. My favorite is Turkey on a bun. It is a sandwich on a sesame bunk, loaded with turkey in the BBQ sauce. I will only wait in the long line to get it; and the line is long every day. Be ready to take cash. Prices have gone up, which I completely understand as a sign of the times, but I also don 't think the food is as good as I remember. I got a dinner and all it came with was bread and the tiniest coleslaw (like in a plastic shot glass) you ever saw. They weren 't stingy like that in the past. Do better, Speed Queen.
