"This place is amazing. I went here with my mom and my aunt. I ordered the BBQ chicken, and my mom and aunt ordered the fish and chips. They seemed to really enjoy the fish and the fries were nice and soft and tasted amazing. The BBQ chicken was soft and tender and had delicious sauce. The portions were big enough and the price was reasonable. Definitely eat at this place if you have the time!"

"We have been to Tobermory 3 times, but this was our first visit to Beavertails. The staff was friendly, the order was prepared quickly and we loved the food. Our motel was nearby and it was very convenient. We tried the cinnamon sugar beavertail and the Apple Pie version. Both were delicious. Another day we wanted an easy dinner and had the hot dogs. Very good. Will most certainly visit if in the area again."

"Typical pub food, wait for about 20 minutes to find a table in the interior as the terrace was closed. the food was good and the service excellent. good choice of beer. as so many places were closed, probably the best meal I had in tobermory"

"On the 28th, I dined at the restaurant and ordered a chicken wrap and fish and chips. The food, while not exceptional, was passable. My issue didn't lie with the cuisine but with the appalling behavior of the waiter. After paying $36 and being unable to tip due to a lack of cash as I paid via tap, the waiter, a tall man with a top knot haircut, unleashed a torrent of aggression. He interrogated me about my country of origin, using it as an excuse to berate me for not tipping, even citing his experiences with Asian customers.His relentless insults were deeply unsettling, reflecting a complete lack of professionalism and courtesy. After moving to Canada, I worked as a waiter for four months, and I never demeaned a customer for their tipping choices. This waiter's behavior went beyond discourteous; it was outright demeaning. To compound matters, the service was abysmal – we had to fetch ketchup from another table ourselves.This encounter left me profoundly dismayed. I have never experienced such disgraceful conduct in a restaurant before. It's a stark reminder of the importance of respectful customer service. I have decided never to return to that restaurant, and I sincerely hope the owner addresses the issue promptly. No customer should endure such humiliation and disrespect, especially in a setting meant for enjoyment and relaxation.The waiter is a mannerless, rude person and should be fired."

"This is standard hotel food nothing fancy here. $5 for a blueberry pancake not hot, but still crispy and light. I used the whipped butter, strawberry jam and maple syrup, which was okay; I ended up spreading peanut butter all over my pancake, ha. Note: You can still order the breakfast special all day, but it raises by $3 after 11am. I don't recommend their mints; taste like a weird mouthwash?"
