"I was pleasantly surprised that Shaya lived up to the hype. Five stars. The fried chicken hummus is a must. Wait and order after this is finished. It was a perfect balance of savory and sweet on their amazing bread. If you only come for drinks and an appetizer then order this and be happy. A table favorite. The lamb was good. Tender and perfectly cooked. The flavor was mild and side salad was enough for us to both share. Cinnamon babka was yummy, but I might try another"

"The food was good, but unfortunately not the $240/person price day. The warm lobster salad was very salty and the pan meerrote G... the wine pairing has not impressed us either. There were only two servers so it was extremely hectic, but the food was brought out quick. The beignets were soft and fluffy and the omelets delicious and filled with so much seafood, we ordered three seafood omelets! The hash browns are more of breakfast potatoes but very yummy. Definitely recommend. However if you are looking for authentic gumbo or the like, this may not be the restaurant. If you want a quaint little place with yummy food then this is a must-try!"
