Verna's Tavern - Newport

What MenuPix User likes about Verna's Tavern:
1st time visit. Ordered the everything burger due to the hype about how good the burgers are supposed to be. I was NOT disappointed. The burger was awesome! Fresh toppings, grilled bun, bacon, grilled onions, mushrooms. Everything was great. I also ordered the deep fried mushrooms. They were great too!. The staff were both very friendly and thevbeer was ice cold. I will absolutely be going here again!!.

What User doesn't like about Verna's Tavern:
we went to verna on a Friday night at 6:30 a.m. we found a table and sat there about 10 minutes. Nobody ever came to our table to get our order. we finally got out. I have heard about their good food, but I do not think I will ever go back to try it because of the lack of service. View all feedback.
