"Unassuming spot to get a great home cooked meal. The employees there were so nice. Tons of great options on the menu as well as daily specials. Order at the counter and the food is brought to you. Everything we had was delicious. Brisket sandwich and lasagna were are choices. With outdoor seating, being pet friendly, beer, wine, specials and dessert we will be back."

"Ordered pizza. Did not like it at all and it tasted like the cheese was off. No offer to make a different pizza and ended up paying full price for both pizzas that we ordered. Very dissatisfied. Servers and staff are pleasant and kind. Fell like we got left in the cracks. The pizza looks good though to the eye. Be careful going into doorway because you can get dripped on. Took photo of the unit that drips from the ceiling. Also it smells like scented candles that could have probably affected the taste I suppose."

"Date night dinner with the husband and came here at the suggestion of a friend. We were greeted and chose an outside table. The weather held to allow for this although inside looked fine but did not feel as casual. Had the mango shrimp dinner and my only critique would be to allow me to choose my adventure with the mango salsa....the fried tortillas that wrapped the shrimp were a tad soggy from the juices. The flavors were all there though. The enchilada dinner was good too the meat was super tender and were not bland at all. Now as for the beans (both black and pinto) and the rice (both Spanish and lime) felt like afterthoughts. To make a fair assessment we ordered both. The rice and beans lacked any additional flavors or spices to make them special and the rice was slightly undercooked. Not bad just not new and exciting. The margarita was pretty spot on for a good drink but would only have one as the price would be for a whole gallon of margarita at any other Mexican restaurant. Overall would totally come here again. Perhaps will opt for the appetizer portion instead of the dinner portion to not waste the rice and beans."

"It's great to come back to this restaurant. It's been years since I last dined here. Food was excellent as I remembered. A reservation was made for four people so I went had no trouble getting seated. It seemed that there was at least a empty table buffer for social distancing. Your experience may vary. It was a pretty steady stream of different meats. Drinks were refilled steadily too. Even the alcohol I had. Two members of my party asked for chicken hearts and it was made and delivered to them. A truly fantastic dining experience. I recommend coming back if like me you haven't been in a while and of course if you've never been and like a variety of cooked meats, you're going to like it here."

"Cactus Flower Cafe in East Hill! The owner took our to go order on the phone; she opened this place after moving from California to try to help with the?we?ll say lacking?availability of cultural food in Pensacola. She delivered! The chicken enchiladas (pictured first were hands down the best enchiladas I?ve ever had. Order them. The SoCal burrito (pictured second was fantastic as well as enormous, the picture doesn?t show a good angle but it was about as big as a plate and loaded with steak and potatoes. The refried beans were fresh and not greasy and the lime rice was like a premium version of what you?d get at Chipotle. Not pictured was the guac which was the best I?ve found in Pensacola. I too moved here from California (a trend? and this is about as close as it comes as far as freshness and the ?west coast flare?. A clear cut above the other Texas themed Mexican joints around here. I think some of the local trucks adequately hit the CA street food vibe (Tacos Mexicanos, El Asador, etc , but this place had all the comforts of your classic family owned Mexican restaurant in California that uses premium ingregients and homemade recipies. I will be going for a run tomorrow though. The restaurant is a sweet vibe too with a coffee shop attached to it all open until 9. Will be back soon on a non school night to try their fresh squeezed margaritas. Cheers!"

"Very good location, very beautiful Bayfront view, I love to sit outside and enjoy the food, cocktails and good mood.Fish Tacos was good,but for me I just don’t like the crispy tortilla, I like the soft tacos .Salmon burger is good. Old Cuban cocktail is amazing and I love it . We will come again soon."
