"I feel very confident eating here, which is a big deal to me. They have “vegan options available” painted on their window, and vegan options are clearly denoted in the menu. The items are not inherently vegan, and you do need to specify that you want the “vegan tacos/burrito/chimichanga etc.”, but no need to specify “no cheese/sour cream” or ask if the refried beans are vegan. The woman who took my order knew exactly what vegan meant. You will actually need to choose your vegan meat substitute because there are OPTIONS! I got the soy chorizo, but there are many others, including mushroom chorizo. The menus posted on Yelp do not reflect the new vegan choices, so call ahead or pick up a paper menu at the restaurant. The food was EXCELLENT, came with complimentary chips and salsa, and it paired nicely with the watermelon agua fresca I ordered. (And, I got to keep the glass jar!
