"This place has been my go-to shabu spot since high school when my brother would take me. Sure, I have other spots I like to rotate, but compared to the others, Shabu Shabu Bar is always a very fun and pleasant dining experience. The meat quality here has never suffered and has remained consistent all these years. The same can be said for the produce. I can't speak on the broth options unfortunately as I enjoy doing plain water, but my wife really enjoys the sukiyaki. I especially love the fact that I can substitute items out for others. For example, I despise mushrooms, so I can get something else in its place, like another vegetable that isn't a fungus : They have THE best goma sauce I've ever had and I like grinding the sesame seeds before dinner. It adds a nice depth of flavor to the sauce. I used to never care for goma, but because of SSB, I need it! Also, if you're a hothead, definitely request for the drops. I can do upwards of 8+, but I am a VERY spicy eater! My wife does 5-6. As I mentioned earlier, the atmosphere here is lively and fun. The service is always personable and attentive. The previous and current owner are always engaging with their customers and helping out the rest of the team which I think is a respectable. I just went recently, but I can't wait to go back again, especially when the weather gets colder and the days are shorter!"

"I was looking for a place to eat near the Amtrak station and stumbled upon this gem two blocks away. We were in and out very quickly. The food was absolutely delicious. We started with some nachos, some of our party had the pork special and I had the homemade chicken tamale. When it comes to Mexican food and it's the first time going to a restaurant you never know what to expect, this will meet and exceed all your expectations. You can see by all of the teams they support and the pictures on the wall that this is an established family run business. they also have plenty of parking so if you drive just passed the restaurant and pull into the driveway you'll see plenty of spots to park. we went for lunch and although the restaurant was full there was not a long wait. If you're planning to take a train or come into the station anywhere around lunch time I truly suggest trying this restaurant."

"I go to this McDonalds a lot. I read the reviews and I was procrastinating should I order through door dash because I eat here mainly drive thru. So I gave it a try door dash for Easter breakfast. I have a newborn and my schedule changed. I ordered the sausage egg McMuffin muffin meal, caramel frapp as well as delux breakfast free PROMO donuts and a coffee. I ordered all the free condiments to test will this McDonalds mess up on my order or is it still exceptional service. And they put my 30 condiments in my bag also. Everything was neat. Thank you!!!!! For a peace ful Easter breakfast with my new baby and family."
