"A wonderful welcome by the owner, a lovely restaurant and excellent food at a very reasonable cost. What more can you ask for and why the the 3 rating? It’s all because of the waiter, if you want to be served by the rudest person...in the world then this is the restaurant to eat . Never in my 50+ years have I seen a waiter behave in this way, looking back now it was a classic comedy act and now a funny story to tell but at the time he ruined our final meal in Vienna. Not sure if he hates women or the English? He cleared the table as my friend was still eating taking the condiments still being used, he huffed and puffed when we brought them back to the table and gave dirty looks throughout the meal, as he were sorting out the bill he snapped that they were open until 11 (it was only 18:00. Sorry to all who work there as we always leave a tip but on this occasion the tip is teach the waiter basic manners or buy him a personality....sorry nice owner, excellent food, felt the need to say that again."

"Well laid out tables and looked attractive so we went in. Totally ignored for awhile despite it being quiet. Finally got served but the mixed salad should have been listed as mixed green leaves as that is all it was. I had so much broken clam shell in my pasta dish I couldn't eat it. The service went from bad to worse even though there was only 4 tables occupied. We were not even offered coffee or dessert. Very expensive and just about the worst italian restaurant I have ever been in."

"The extraordinary combination of grilled scampi in Mango-Chili sauce and polenta was surprisingly very good. the ambiente of the Italian restaurant is very pleasant and welcome. the staff is extremely polite and the evening card is very delicious. the whole family liked it and we definitely go another time."

"Grandioso! If you are in Vienna and close to the Museumsquarter, looking for an Italian restaurant, where every dish is cooked fresh and served with really good ingredients and with passionate love to italian products, you will be getting this @ Anna & Paolo. If you want a quick already cooked Pasta or Pizza just to get full, go somewhere else. ;O)We have been enjoying all course dinner in that heartwarming italian family style trattoria with an assorted choice of affordable really good wines and I would come back anytime. Besides great fresh fish and meat of the day, you will have to try the Chef´s Pasta and the Truffel-Ravioli. Heavenly and Al Dente!!! We will definitely go back..."

"I have read other reviews and this is not the experience that we enjoyed. There were four family members, tired and hungry, not wishing to be trapped by tourist establishments. We stumbled on this place down a side street and on entering, were greeted with Buongiorno by a smiling Italian lady. We settled down and then enjoyed a truly Italian experience. The ambiance was perfect, the Italian beer and wine perfectly complimentary to the meal. All in all, and experience which I wouldn't hesitate to repeat if ever I am in Vienna again."
