"Shocking service. We waited 45 minutes and didn't receive any attention or even our ordered basket of poppadums. When we asked our waiter how much longer our meal would be he seemed surprised. Other tables came in well after us and were served quickly. Just really poorly organised and no attention or care factor from the wait staff. We ended up leaving without eating ... it was just too frustrating."

"We had a lovely dinner at Punjab Curry Club. The street that it is set on feels like I was overseas and on a holiday. They were nearly at full house and there was a considerable amount of people picking up take aways. That just shows their food is really good. We had the mixed vegetarian starter, mango chicken, it was full of fresh mango flavour. The servings was a bit small but you cannot fault them on taste. My husband ordered an other curry and that was also great. We had garlic nan, it was soft and fresh. Nearly everything was right, just a bit on the expensive side. The bill was over $80 for two, we only ordered one non-alcoholic drink, one starter, two curries and one nan bread. We will be back, but it is not a place we can afford all the time. If you have some spare money, it is definitely a place worth trying."

"Just across from the Mater hospital and in an area where parking is tricky until after 7pm sits an unassuming Indian restaurant which is open for lunch and dinner. Of course its run by a real Indian family who have been in the business for more than 30 years, (used to be at the Bengal Curry House) and know how to cook superb true Indian curries.<br/ <br/ Good service from smiling wait staff, BYO (with a bottlo a few doors down), relaxed and unpretentious."
