"Came here for good tripadvisor reviews. abducted by snobbish, lack of fun service by young, clearly inexperienced and smiling waiter and kitchen staff. no traditional cheerful greetings or farewell they would find in any self-respecting Japanese restaurant. the rug itself came in a subdimensioned dish .a puny portion according to Japanese standards and lack of taste. aussies are easy to fool when these reviews are all over. they don't waste their time with this joint. go to danbo ramen in south-sperbane when they are authentic after something vague."

"Yum to the curry, rice paper rolls and banh mi. Fabulous and cheap it's a go to when I'm picking my partner up from work love my sneaky Vietnamese. Did I mention the staff are awesome and so accommodating when I want both rice and a baguette for my curry I'm sure they try not to laugh but what can I say I live for carbs"

"This place is an absolute icon, a luminous light in a sea of commercial fakes. The menu is creative and inclusive, with something for everyone and nothing boring. There are good beers and noble cocktails, and if you have too many, the staff will make sure you drink plenty of water so the next day is a little less terrible for you. Live music is well supported, sometimes it is good, sometimes it is great, sometimes it is tolerable, definitely always fun."

"I was a massive fan of Brunswick social used to visit about once a month.<br/>Being disappointed by it changing, I hadn't made it back to it's latest reincarnation until now. <br/>I was impressed. <br/>It served my purposes for the evening, certainly not a quiet, yuppie place.. by any stretch of the imagination. There is an active pool table, a couple of arcade games pumping music.<br/>Ate quail, popcorn chicken, kingfish cheeseburger spring rolls.<br/>I know other reviews like the cheeseburger spring rolls, I thought it was an abomination to my taste buds... That being said, it tasted exactly like a McDonald's burger in a spring rolls. Curiosity now fixed glad I tried it.<br/>Everything else was great. <br/>The service was knowledgeable invitingfor the most part, offering suggestions on both drink food. <br/>I didn't really like one of the barmans friends who was loudly making vomiting noises while playing pool.. not great for the paying customers.<br/>Overall an enjoyable evening I'll definitely be going back."
