"A good restaurant, but in my eyes overestimated by what ive heard I sat half in the rain without heating near me no hard feelings tho, because I informed myself that it was just outside sitting. The restaurant would be a perfect choice for a group of friends or business partners for day drinking on a sunny day with good food. But not for a rainy evening for birthday dinner. "My son had been to The Malaya before and loved it so much that he booked it for Mothers Day so my husband myself and our son went and had the set menu for lunch. The food was absolutely superb atmosphere good and the service was excellent. I can tell you we have become very fussy as we have aged. I keep telling my husband that he has become a grumpy old man. But must admit we have both become quite disillusioned with eating out. We are now retired and frequently go out to eat as a weekly outing and have become constantly disappointed with not only the food but the poor service in so many Restaurants these days. So thank you so much and really appreciated the special touch of getting a box of excellent chocolates for Mothers Day at the end of the meal. We will definitely return."

"I had my 30th birthday here and the staff were so goddamn accommodating. The ambiance is amazing, the bartenders are LOVELY, and the venue itself if a stunner. I had one of the best birthdays ever here. Even the security staff were amazing - just trying to keep me happy without breaking any rules. I LOVE THIS PLACE!"
