"For $8, I ordered scrambled eggs on toast and clearly specified that i did not want white bread, i wanted rye. Was told no problem. Asked for a coffee with extra shots of coffee and the bloke making coffees huffed and puffed as if i was asking for the world. A very very very rude man who should go and work away from people and customers. My friend ordered pancakes and a coffee.Coffee arrived and was lukewarm. My scrambled eggs came on white toast, and the eggs looked like my dog had cooked them. Awful presentation and awful quantity as well as not being what i ordered. I'm told the pancakes were OK. Oh yes, the water bottles were absolutely filthy we didn't drink from them.Terrible overall. I really doubt there is anyone working at this place with any hospitality qualifications or proper experience."

"Very nice little cafe, not too busy and friendly staff.<br/>I had a really nice tasting flat white followed by the Hyde 'n Seek lunch burger with chips. Tasted great.<br/>Will definitely return."

"We went stella for round 2 today. So what’s the big deal about this then? <br/ <br/ We tried ‘angus burger’ <br/ <br/ It wowed is from beginning till the end. <br/ <br/ Chips were very crispy and crunch and not overly greasy. <br/ <br/ The burger, man!!!!! Always in many burgers the key to delicious burger lies in the patty. This one is juicy and tender. The best I have had. The onion is sweet. The aioli sauce is not overwhelming. <br/ <br/ This place is a ‘must go’ for culinary experience in Carnegie. <br/ <br/ Staff are very accommodating and helpful. Yes we like this place."

"Cute little cafe serving up good coffee with good service! We had brunch here the other day. There’s nothing fancy about the food however it’s all delicious and definitely hits the spot for weekend brunch! We will be back : <br/ <br/ On a side note I have to agree with previous reviews, they really need to sort out the height of the tables or the bench. Right now the bench height is uncomfortably high for the table making it pretty awkward/impossible to sit with your legs under the table."

"We enjoyed sitting in the charming, sunny courtyard. The tables are well spaced for privacy (and health reasons). The food was delicious and arrived soon after we placed our order. Staff were friendly and efficient. Will certainly be back for breakfast next time to try out enticing items on the menu."
