"I read up on the reviews to Ya- 'Malaysia before I went there. I expected to be given a watered down laksa lacking in flavour and depth. Instead I was served with deliciously flavoursome laksa. The amount given was just enough for me. The soup was so delicious, I could have drunk it for days. Would recommend this place for anyone who wants some laksa in or about parramatta."

"Some dishes are very good, food is prepared quickly and staff are friendly.I recommend the Golden Mountain Pork, and the Vegetables with chilli jam and cashews.Pad Thai is ok but a bit sweet for my taste, Pad Prik Sod seemed to have no spices or chilli to add to the beef and vegetables."

"Thursday night birthday dinner six adults. My first trip to Canton House, but the others swear by it. Not a huge amount of seating, but adequate and minimal décor. BYO which is useful. It seems the main attraction here is the food itself ...I would call it basic Chinese the sort of menu you'd expect in a Chinese Restaurant for years past. However it was excellent, hot and fresh dishes you can just keep eating until you're fit to burst. The service was great, attentive but unobtrusive. Not too many eating in on a Thursday night, but the restaurant also was quite busy with takeaways and delivery. The total bill of around $140 for 6 adults was exceedingly reasonable. We'll definitely be back for more..."

"Food is amazing authentic. Service is good and the food is quick to serve. I don’t understand why there are other reviews complaining about bad service and mosquito/flies galore, I’ve been there a few times and I have not had such bad experiences before."

"We dined here on a Saturday afternoon and ordered special beef pho and grilled pork. The portions were decent and service was quick and friendly. The meat was tender and delicious. We will be back to try out more dishes."

"No nonsense, unpretentious, good solid Singaporean food. Quick service and not outrageously expensive. I'd give them instead of if they sold my favourite, Popiah, but that really is a tall order outside Singapore. I will definitely go there again next time I come...to Sydney."
