"I'm a regular and always enjoy the atmosphere, the friendly staff and the food. However, Everest have recently hired new cook ! direct from India and the food is now even better. The menu doesn't seem to have changed much ... (yet) but the new cook has definitely made improvements. The Lamb Palak was better than ever and the Kulfi was brilliant. Well done Everest."

"I'm a vegetarian currently on a tight backpacker budget - could this place be any more perfect - I initially thought. With the cheap costs taken into account, I can still safely say this is the worst 'Indian' food I have ever had. It had no flavour or substance, instead it was just a watery slop with some lentils floating on top, served with some boiled rice and dry naan. I didn't make the most of the "all you can eat offer" because I didn't want a second helping. You get what you pay for, yes, but I wouldn't pay anything for this meal again."
