"Typical pub with on brand decor. I hate the sliding doors for the bathrooms, but understand why they are necessary (complete lack of space). Food menu is expected and has a good variety.Food: 4/5"

"This restaurant serves the best dumplings I have probably have ever had. The food was to die for but unfortunately The restaurant is poorly ventilated and when we walked out, we smelled like our dinner for days after that. It may be an uber eats...situation next time! But really really enjoyed the food!"

"I'm truly upset with this establishment. The food was so good that I gorged myself! Got the ultimate and donair wraps along with Caesar salad and fries. It was split between myself and my wife. The cheese on the sauce and the Caesar salad dressing is on another level. This will be my first stop whenever I'm in Halifax."

"Service was lovely. Options for gluten free. Server was lovely about requests to our order. Lunch special had lovely flavours and was truly well crafted. Lovely tea in a pot. Fabulous coffee Atmosphere was a bit noisy up until after 1 pm. But regardless we will come back soon."

"Our company regularly meets at Garrison next door for after work drinks and Tomavinos quickly became a staple of those nights out. My favourite is the Canadian (shown in the photo) but they have a great selection of interesting options. Super friendly service, really good value and AMAZING pizza every time. If you’re reading this do it!"

"Good place for beer and snacks, lackluster real meals. I had the burger, friends had tacos and the Greek fries. There was a ton of bun and sauce on the burgers, overwhelming any meat flavor. The fried capers were a cool addition to the tacos they looked beautiful and tasted pretty good. Ultimately the food felt a little expensive. The beer selection is great, and the prices are fair. The atmosphere is nice. The service was a tad slow and confused. I think the server might have been new, but everything arrived after a few questions."
