"Service was lovely. Options for gluten free. Server was lovely about requests to our order. Lunch special had lovely flavours and was truly well crafted. Lovely tea in a pot. Fabulous coffee Atmosphere was a bit noisy up until after 1 pm. But regardless we will come back soon."

"I don't typically go on and on about service in my reviews as I'm all about the food but this experience was exceptionally bad. For our first meal in NS and after we were seated in the cold dining room on a cool day, we were left for nearly 15 minutes without a server making eye contact (and it wasn't even busy). I finally went and asked the hostess if she could send someone. The waitress that came was quite cool, not friendly and we waited an exceptionally long time again just to get soup. The chowder was very rich compared to others we had on our trip, but good. The bruschetta was nothing special and had we been told that we would get naan bread and dip (which was very good) we wouldn't have even ordered it. As we were paying with a machine our waitress walked away to do something else and so after waiting so long already we just left taking our own receipt. It was really disappointing and despite staying in the hotel we decided not to return for breakfast not wanting a repeat experience."
