"Went to the Palasad for dinner and were seated in the dining room, but because there were several large parties it was really loud, so we moved to the bar area, which for some reason was much quieter. Sat for 15 minutes and not one server acknowledged us. We finally found an employee who was busy chatting with some friends at the bar and asked her if we could please get a couple of menus. Another server did come over and take our order. The soup of the day was good, hot and tasty. The calamari was hot but the lemon pepper seasoning was overkill. Too salty and I am a salt fiend. It was not edible. The special pizza of the day was a peppercorn steak pizza. The Palasad is known for their thin crust wood oven pizza. This crust had the texture of bread and thick frozen grocery store pizza. The steak had no peppercorn flavouring at all and there was none of the promised maple bbq drizzle. When the server came back we told him about the crust and that the pizza was to have a sauce with it, which he did bring on the side and it helped.....a bit. Overall the pizza was dry and tasteless. We've been going to this location since they opened and this was a huge disappointment. We were both unimpressed. Usually the food and service is pretty good and consistent but not so last night."
