"Bday meeting with family, charlotte our server was great, eating was delish, vibe was great. the only disadvantage I would say is that they have a 2.5-hour period for the table. not too happy about how we had just finished dessert and were asked to pack it. otherwise everything was very nice."

"Alobar is a really great Michelin addition. Being part of the Alo Group, you can expect great food, warm hospitality, and an overall positive experience. The main positive is that it’s not a huge fight for reservation/time commitment. It’s more than possible to come in for a relatively last minute intimate soiree, drinks, date, etc. I still think that the mille-feuille here is one of the best in the city and is something I get every time! Hands down though, their star dish has to be the foie gras parfait!"

"Way overpriced food and it’s not even tasty. For example, we ordered the recommended soft shell crab $32 but only 4 small pieces and that’s all… the one in the phone below cost 35 with little meat/content… disappointment.will not go again and would not recommend."

"Went with my family for my birthday dinner. Was looking forward to my 10 ounce filet mignon. My partner was also looking forward to her 7 ounce filet. Asked for both to be medium well and both came out raw inside. They took them both back to finish cooking. The 7 ounce came out better, but mine was still undercooked. Taste was not like it used to be. My meal was not charged, but the whole experience left a bad taste and we didn’t even stay for dessert. A proper steakhouse knows how to cook meat to request. My server was good. Will look elsewhere when feeling like a steak in future."

"Decided to jump bars before going out for dinner this evening in little Italy of Toronto. Heard this tapas bar was one of it's kind for it's interior design and cocktails. So glad I got to check it out. The interior is very nice, a wood mahogany custom made all around finish inside the bar. We were in the mood for some gin cocktails the recommendations made for us were excellent! The Last Word.. a top 10 gin cocktail apparently made by perfection! And the porcelaina also amazing. Too bad we were having dinner somewhere else the food looked amazing here! Going to need to come back and possibly have a meal next time! Cheers!"
