"This place is great for both pizza and focaccia sandwiches. Very fresh ingredients, imaginative toppings, and nice people. There are only a couple of tables so I avoid the lunch crunch and many people do take away. This is one of my favorite places for...lunch in Basel. Dinner would be fine, but I usually go to a more sit down place for that."

"The concept is nice... many choices (Swiss cuisine - Italian - Asian - vegetarian dishes)..and frankly we did not wait. It's true that Saturday there were no crowds. the only reproach we formultify is the price of menus and drinks...cherot when we are 8 with family."

"My Greek husband liked the service and food so this is definitely an authentic Greek restaurant. We arrived on a busy Saturday lunch time and it was fully packed so we decided to return around 2pm when everyone were leaving. It was a brilliant idea since the kitchen and staff were not busy. We were attended fast. The waiter was pleasant talking about their specialty and restaurant. We were given free ouzo drink as starter and another free drink at the end of the meal. The food arrived fast. We ordered what was recommended by the waiter. I have attached the photos.In conclusion, the food was 5*, the service was 5*, location also is 5* very close to tram 8 and lots of free parking, pricewise 4* (44 euros for 2 mains, 2 drinks & 1 dessert its still expensive as per Germany standard although cheap in Basel standard) ambiance/decor was the only downside 1*. It didn't feel like a Greek restaurant more like a jungle. It was lacking the Greek trademark - the blue sea. I do appreciate the napkins with Greek - German language lesson"

"We went here, because relatives used to farm the land of the Grün 80 and where this restaurant is located. So, there is a special relationship to this place. We enjoyed the friendly and welcoming staff. Between the menu courses we enjoyed stretching our legs outside at the bar tables in the sun, exchanging our many memories of this wonderful place to relax and to enjoy."

"Wir waren am 16.4.2016 zu zweit im Restaurant Konak. Das essen war lecker aber leider waren die Pommes nicht so gut. Wir haben am schluss Milchreis offeriert bekommen. Das Personal ist bemüht die wünsche zu erfüllen."
