"We came to this restaurant on a Saturday night because it was right by our hotel. We know that Baar is a very small town so even though we came on a Saturday night without reservations, we were seated right away, and half of the restaurant was full of people. We ordered the mussles with fries as well a their flatbread. We were brought complimentary beef tartar served with a pickle. The food was great and is a good place if you want pub food."

"Ordered takeaway menu on the phone, arrived and paid, and waited as the my first meal sat there and the second was made. Was eventually told that they were out of my second choice and that I would have to take a green curry as an alternative. No price reduction, little in the way of an apology offered. It was 9:20 on a Friday night - there are little other options around so I agreed - this then took another 15 minutes to cook - all the time my first meal sat packaged on the counter. When I stated that I didn't think that being told my meal wasn't available 5 minutes after I'd paid for it and for my first meal to be sat on the counter going cold I was asked why I was 'always complaining' and 'what did I want?'. The rudeness and the level of customer service was truly awful - it might explain why there were only two tables being used on a Friday night..."

"In my opinion, the best place for Thai food in Zug (open for lunch only). This is a small grocery store and the owner prepares daily approx. 5 different meals before. Usually a curry with shrimp, chicken or beef, padthai etc. Curries are served with white rice. The flavors are amazing. The food is so delicious that I wish the portions were a little bigger. You can dip (only a few tables available) or remove. The only drawback to eat is that the place does not have the best ventilation and in the end you smell Thai food in the rest of the day."

"Wir haben uns sehr gefreut auf chinesisches Essen, jedoch wurden wir nicht gerade herzlich empfangen und auch bei der Bestellung schnippisch behandelt, weil wir die Vorspeisen teilen wollten. Die Preise sind relativ hoch eine Frühlingsrolle kostet 9.--. Das Personal (ausser die chefin) kann weder englisch noch deutsch. Auch haben wir über eine Stunde auf unser Essen gewartet. Die Ente knusprig gebraten war total ungeniessbar! Werde also sicher nie wieder dorthin Essen gehen! Nicht empfehlenswrrt!"

"We were able to get a table right next to the water. Although our visit was in May, it was quite a cool evening and we enjoyed an appetizer of fondue split between 2 of us. My husband ordered the pork, which he loved, and...I had the mixed salad. Everything was great!"
