"After mentioning in the guide, the reviews on the Internet and the Falstaff Guide Award, we had expected more! No question: The food tasted as well as the wine; above all projected or in any way special, but both were not. At 19:00 three dishes were sold out. Although it was still early in the evening, we had the feeling that the staff was hired for the evening. The waiter could not go fast enough; we had barely looked at the menu and not yet worked together as he already accepted the order. With great gesture he brought one minute later for each two pieces of gray bread with normal, very hard butter and described it of course great as Amuse-Gaule . Too much good (mostly with a beaten real egg on the grounds! and very touristy. You should not necessarily follow a tip in the guide, but follow your own nose; In this way we found in Oberwesel on the days before a barn and a small wine bar and both very well eaten and also drank an excellent wine. At more civilian prices than in the historical wine industry!"

"We stayed here in May 2017 for three days and the location and the service especially at the included breakfast is the best around. We stopped for dinner when we were in the area again in September 2017 with friends, and the evening meal was bountiful and the service again was extra special. If you are looking for wine there is a cellar where you can try the wines before you buy. Check out Weingut Stahl, you won't be disappointed."

"We went on a recommendation. the pizza should be the scratch. hamm. What do you want me to say? have never eaten such a pizza at the Italian. my guide and I had both the impression of eating a subsequently occupied tk pizza. the teig was not airy and loose, but rather dry. Actually, I've made better tk pizzen in my own many. the load was full of what actually speaks for good kitchen. but we sat beside two tables with families. the children were very loud. I am not a child hater, but in the evening in the restaurant would be a little rest to eat quite nicely.Also, the children have at least less disturbed than the pizza.The personal was friendly and attentive - there is nothing to complain about."
