"Loved this restaurant. We have wanted to go ever since seeing Rick Stein eat there. We were not disappointed, right up our street. No ridiculous little bits of food, pretty presented and costing an absolute fortune. I had fillet steak and my husband had the shoulder of lamb. Delicious. The staff were friendly and service efficient. Would definitely make a return visit."

"While touring we were looking for a place to drop in for good food. Most of the restaurants we tried were too busy at lunchtime on a weekend, but this place had room. We were pleased it did. Sat right down in a spot to...watch the people walk by and ordered a few beers and wine. Both guys had the Mussels and Fries, and both girls had the Cherve Chaud salads. Both were just what we wanted. The mussels were well cooked and in an outstanding broth. The potatoes cooked just right. The salads were fresh and the toast points with goat cheese cooked just right. Service was good. This is one of those times I wish trip advisor had half points, as I would have given a and a half review. If wandering Bordeaux and looking for a french meal at a good price, this is worth a stop."
