"Since the restaurant reopened shortly before by the new chef Valentine Davase, we were very much looking forward to our recent visit. Glad to say that food and hospitality exceeded our expectations. Starters to share as well as the daily offered butchers cut (we had veal chop) were all made and served perfectly. Last but not least, the local wines were excellent companions of an unforgettable evening with a perfect view across the vineyards."

"Hidden away in a little corner of Lorgues, but worth finding. Everything here is genuine. The staff is friendly and helpful and you feel that you are welcome. The food is well-prepared and fresh. Wonderful steaks, veal and pasta. Wine good. You really get value for money, and I love to go there for a good meal."

"I was visiting the area and wanted to find a nice place for lunch. Chez Ludo popped up and I took a chance. It was a nice surprise. They offer simple traditional food with no frills. The ingredients are first class, and you do not have to pay the extra for plating and presentation that high-end restaurants impose. The friendly and honest staff made this experience an excellent one."

"The rose wine was warm didn’t want to make a fuss but when my meal arrived cold I sent it back. They returned it still cold with the head of the prawn I had eaten still on it. Third time they had obviously just put original dinner in microwave again. Rest of food was mediocre. Didn’t even take the food off the bill. Very bad experience we were so looking forward to going."

"Visited this restaurant in August 2015. Not long opened it was a colourful, clean, restaurant to sit and enjoy lunch outside in the town of Lorgues. My husband chose the fish dish that came with nice flavoured rice and vegetables and I had a Mozzarella salad. The cheese was delicious and soft.The service was good and the waitress was helpful and informative. Will be back."
