"Merveilleux is a typical Lille pastry: two pieces of merengue, covered with chocolate cream and black chocolate chips... For those who are not afraid to get tied up, a delight! I was recommended to try them at the aux merveilleux store of Fred, the best in the city, I went to the rue shop of the Monnaie but apparently there are more places (one in the main square and one in Gambetta Street). At the Monnaie street shop you can also see a little how they are done, two obrer@s are in the store making them! And for those who prefer the coffee there is a cake equal but with coffee flavor cream! The price is less than 3 euros. Bon appétit!"

"I was there to have a breakfast. The queue was long enough but little waiting at the end. I chose the breakfast formula. 1€ because I took a big coffee. The crescent is good, not dry. Coffee's good. However, I regret that the cup is only 75%. The toilets are free access. However, they are not very clean. Too bad. It was a good experience. The place even has a small terrace. Good by good time!"
