"It’s such a shame. The food was great, although menu a little limited on choice. The ambience is totally lacking. Essentially a silent dining room. It lacks warmth and yet the team are perfectly polite, but transactional. Service without the hospitality if you will. No leadership evident. It kind of snatches defeat from the jaws of victory. For the prices charged you should expect much better. Needs a full review, because I’ve no doubt they’re not making the money they want or need to."

"I am very surprised to see reviews really knock this place! I have visited several times in recent years for eating and drinks. always had good friendly service and amazing eating. it's just a walk, they can't book, so I wouldn't go in there. to have starved when they visit at peak times. our youngest visit was a Friday night, the place was full! there was a wait for the food, but they were honest and right before. Thai food is freshly cooked. when we ordered a starter, they managed to use this quite quickly for us. when it was busy, I looked for a table while my partner and his friend ordered drinks at the bar. I swore to them that a barman thought I'd beg him. he came by to check that I was in order, as I was sitting a weeping to see if I needed help. I felt he was very thoughtful to check if I was okay. Thank you! we'll be back for dinner and drink at some point, never had a bad visit!"

"We visited on a cold January evening and were greeted by a cosy atmosphere and a real log fire. We ate from the set menu which was beautifully cooked and tasty. It was reasonably priced and service was just the right pace. We saw people...calling in for their takeaway food which appeared very efficient. Definitely worth a visit if you enjoy freshly cooked Thai food."
