"Visiting Leeds for a few days and was recommended this eating place. Four of us had their fish and chips, one gluten free. It was so good probably the best we had eaten. The service too was obliging and friendly. When in Leeds will definitely return to this fish and chip shop."

"My family love this pub and go regularly for food. It was my first time visiting with them and it exceeded all expectations. Extremely friendly staff who go out of their way to make you feel welcome and even remember specific allergies! Couldn’t recommend this place more, delicious food and good vibes."

"Mixed experience here. Went once at lunch time and portion was large, food fresh and hot and really tasty, wait was not too long either. Went around 6pm and had to wait a long time, food was barely warm when served and half the portion was missing as they had run out. Staff were apologetic but I would rather have known this upfront so I could have gone somewhere else, will probably not bother going again"

"This pub is fantastic old fashioned decor . Never been before but definitely will go again. Myself and my partner visited we are both in our 50s it was great to have a pub not full of young ones no disrespect to young ones as we were all young once). I loved the original decor and individual rooms the original bevel glass was amazing. We were in a room with an open lit fire and there are candles on every table which was lovely as there was low lightening I guess to make you feel you were in a Victorian pub. We didn't dine there but menu looked amazing reasonably priced. And best of all they had Aspal cider. See you again very soon."
