"Met by a rude manager on arrival. Told I MUST pay via the app at the table ! I don 't want to use the app , I don 't have a smart phone. After some discussion she said 'well I could pay via card at the till if I need to ' I found her manner very unwelcoming. Shown to our table sat down. Manager walked off without saying anything. As it was a buffet we got up to help ourselves to be stopped in my tracks by the manager who bellowed at me 'have you paid? ' err paid ? I 've not eaten anything yet ! At no point did she tell me I had to pay at the till BEFORE eating, she just sat us down walked off obviously unhappy I didn 't want to pay via the app. The only plus point was the pizzas were hot, tasty replenished quickly but the plates for pizza salad bar are child sized for some reason ?!! The staff seem to amble about with nothing to do but swipe the plates off the table as soon as you put your fork down loiter making you feel uncomfortable. I won 't be rushing back I 'm afraid."

"A birthday party and a first visit to the Peterborough branch of Pizza Express (capital of its founder Peter Boizot). As always, the environment were reassuring familiar, the service efficient and the quality of food exceptional. Pizza Express has introduced a great new membership scheme on its mobile app with different rewards from bronze to gold based on your visits. My Veneziana Classic Pizza is an old favorite, but the huge Tiramisu Dessert was a real birthday contract! My partner had his favorite, the Calabrese Pizza, followed by a Mini Dessert Dolcetti from Caffè Reale Espresso. Very recommended!"

"I placed an order online the website incorrectly directed to the wrong pizza hut despite using the correct postcode. When I called the branch I wasn’t treated fairly and the gentleman (Zoda) said his manager could only refund. Which I found astonishing and they hung up. The manager at the pizza hut at another branch kindly assisted in calling zoda back but I am yet to receive a refund"

"An interesting selection. We ordered 2 of the local specialties and really liked them. If you expect a pizza like in America you will be disappointed. I would recommend that you try it anyway. The staff was very friendly and the place looked clean."
