"The staff was great(5 stars to them) but the food was quite average and a little bit over priced for what you get. 3.90€ for a glass of cola and 19€ for a rack of ribs which were quite dry.."

"Went on our last night in Alvor, read lots of positive reviews and wasn't disappointed. Service was very good and quick, really welcoming waitress and waiter. Food was really good quality and was plenty of it, I had the medium ribs (which is actually quite big) and my grown up son had the chicken curry. Both of us really enjoyed our meal. Really good place to come If there was any slight suprise, it was how quiet the restaurant was at 8:30 on a Saturday evening, quite possibly because it was the last sat of the Easter hols and a lot of the Brits would have gone home."

"The Chef here has it sorted. He doesn 't even break a sweat. We had Sunday lunch, a bit quiet but probably 30 diners. Good portions, well cooked except the carrots were like your Granny does 'em. My Yorkshire pud was the size of a nipple but it was luck of the draw. Did it detract? Nah. Sticky toffee pud was a bit Blackpool with decorations but over all would we come again? You betcha!"

"Not somewhere I would recommend. This was at the top of the street where we stayed and only went for convienience and it looked busy the night before. Service was ok but one couple came in, sat down and left after approx 20 mins as they hadn't been offered a menu. I had salmon and chips the salmon was lovely but the chips were very greasy. The mixed grill my husband had was not of a good quality. If you are staying nearby I would advise to venture out a little further to the main streets for better restaurants where you won't be disappointed."

"Great hotel and the coarse is fabulous pity about all the pitch marks and unraked bunkers,staff very helpful breakfast top notch prices a little high 10 Euros for 2 soft drinks from the buggy Bar is a bit to much. The man in the gents locker room is brilliant can't do enough for you should get a rise."
