"Perfect place to study or get some work done. Great coffee and lattes. Great service, friendly staff. Free WiFi with plenty of power cords available for customers to plug into at their individual tables separated by tall plants for privacy. The entire feel of the place is geared towards students and homework/studying."

"Tried their fish and chips, a few of their burgers; (Mushroom Swiss, bacon and blue cheese) the food is great, beers they serve, include both Guinness, and at least one Irish red; the atmosphere is comforting Irish-American, and it is a short ride from the beautiful Berkeley Marina, and several hotels, nearby, and in Emeryville; they even let me play harp there, 2020 Thanks. Starry Plough!"

"Quite possibly the worst service I've experienced at a Bay Area restaurant in years. We had a reservation for 5 people at 6:15 pm on a Saturday night, which we thought was plenty of time to make a play at Berkeley Rep a block away at 8 pm. On greeting us, our server even asked if we had an event that evening, which we said we did. So far so good.Things went downhill from there. The restaurant was highly disorganized and the service was amateurish. Our server was nice enough, but clearly inexperienced (he seemed to be a converted table busser) and was assigned to work way too many tables on an extremely busy night.Drinks ordered from the bar arrived individually and extremely late. It took some 45 minutes for the server to take our order. 20 minutes after that, one entree arrived (scallops, they were delicious). We waited another 30 minutes for the rest of the food nothing. Our server was apologetic but clearly had too much on his plate.Finally, at 7:45 pm we notified the manager that we would be leaving as we had our play at 8 pm. She apologized and comped our drinks and the one meal we had received. We couldn't help but notice that other tables were having problems similar to ours.We have been to Revival before and have experienced similar problems with the service, but nothing this bad. I know that post COVID it's hard to find staff, but it is unconscionable for management to continue to book all of its tables when it doesn't have the staff to service them.We will never come back to Revival. It's a shame, because the food and drinks are good (if a bit overpriced), and it's a wonderful space."

"If they want a burrito, there is no reason to go somewhere else. you get the best here. Not sure what the reviews about the treatment like a white person complain about ... everyone at lb was always incredibly nice and friendly. the southern position is the better of the two, according to my opinion, but I understand that I may be going to fall into acceptable waters there. the irony of a tacoglock that thrives next door to this place is not lost on me."

"This place and its employees are excellent that they have helped me get back a ring that wasn't worth buying a lot that I took care of a lot. Eating is great and they have good options for your mice. The diving sandwich was really good and the pommes were perfect. I was next to a show and it's nice to have a restaurant part of your experience. The beer selection is amazing. Very clean place to be immaculate for a club"
