"We came to brunch before we went to the airport. It's a busy place, but waiting was less than 15 minutes. The four of us separated a big cinnamon roll with Icing. Exceptional! Warm and melting icing. Our Brunch Choices were: The Cluck Norris ( chicken apple sausage, fresh spinach, caramelized onions, tomatoes, white cheddar), Snow City Oatmeal and eggs and Bacon. Not bad to say for each of them! Great tasting and beautiful portions. Large server with an even better setting! Try this place for the atmosphere, aromas and kindness."

"Terrible customer service, one of the staff is rude. I went for lunch yesterday at 11 am and a black hair lady out of nowhere started to yell at me when I was paying, I replied to her that I was being polite (in few words there was no need to yell at me), she decided to get louder saying “I’m Done!” and took her gloves off and left, another lady came apologizing for the rude behavior of her coworker, I will never go back to this place."

"Never have I ever had a culinary experience like I had here. I was recommended to come here by a local and wow was I impressed with the overall experience. The location is small and located in the heart of Anchorage making it easily accessible.This is a one person shop as Sam is the host, server, order taker, chef, dish washer, cashier, and on top of it all he sings karaoke. Make sure to plan a good chunk of your evening. Plan to sit, enjoy the quaint little place, making new acquaintances, and eating authentic Japanese food that is not catered to the Americanized pallet.I will forever be grateful for experience I had here and I hope to return soon. I 100% recommend.Also, please call in advance if you are planning a party of 3 or more. You will be turned away as he will not be able to accommodate."

"Honestly, I cant emphasize enough how delicious their food is. When I think of soul food, comfort food, this cuisine is the first that comes to mind. The Veggie platter is my go to and i often find myself dreading my last bite. If i can eat this daily I would. Sam who takes care of the front end gives nothing short of kind and great service. Thank you so much for bringing this absolutely beautiful and most delicious food to Alaska."
