"Looking at the vast majority of the positive reviews, it seems like you guys are doing well. You are providing an exotic flavor experience at a reasonable price. Who am I to critique if others enjoy it. I will have to make some observations on the authenticity and execution of the dishes.The Honolulu Chicken and the Kilauea were good. Tasty (ono), well cooked and decent portions of the entrees. My daughter had their version of Luau Pork... A rather sad attempt at Kahlua Pig. It was dry, overly salted and bathed in smoke seasoning (far too much). There was no hint of Alaea Salt (Hawaiian Red Salt) or banana leaves that give it a true Luau flavor. Seeing that the city won 't let you cook the pig in an imu... You could get a similar result in a crockpot. It takes longer, but the results are outstanding.Now on the saddest part of the plate lunch, the rice was dry and slightly hard (which was passable with the sauces provided). Worse was the Mac Salad . It seemed rushed. It was a little firmer than al dente, but overly starchy like it wasn 't rinsed off after cooking. The mayonnaise was watery and it was bland without seasoning. On the island you typically find onion, carrots, celery, light salt, pepper and sometimes paprika. The mayonnaise seemed more generic than the Kewpie Mayo or even Hellmann 's mayonnaise. The Mac Salad is the staple of a plate lunch on the islands. It can make or break a get together.I have to apologize for being a local food snob. I 've spent many years on the island making many of the same dishes. I just want to make some suggestions to better improve the authenticity and flavors of Hawaiian Bros. I would like to try some of the other entrees. I 'm curious to try your version of a spam musubi.Can I recommend adding Karaage Style fried chicken to the menu? It does very well on the island. It would be a break from the grilled chicken options you already have on the menu. Having some single serve furikake packets might do well for us displaced locals.Mahalo for the experience. I look forward to trying you guys again."

"My husband and I were lucky to have the chance to eat at Herbivore while we were in town for a trade show. We got our food to go and it was so delicious!! Online ordering stops at 8p but the restaurant will still take orders over the phone after 8. We got the Big Max, Pizza Puf, Wedge Salad, and Fried Oreos. We loved everything! The Big Max was one of the best burgers we’ve ever had. The fried outer dough for the Pizza Puf was so crispy and yummy, we enjoyed the filling with it. The Wedge Salad was a big portion with the best dressing, blue chz and bacon bits! And the fried Oreos were fried perfectly golden brown. I’ve been vegan for almost a year and this food is everything I dream of: It is clear this place puts a lot of love into their food and I look forward to the next time I come back."

"Really great neighborhood bar. A little more upscale than your typical pub, but included an excellent menu of around 30 craft beers and excellent whiskey on tap. The guacamole seemed to be made fresh, though the salsa (as we found in every place we had mexican in Chicago) was tasty, but lacked any heat or kick."

"I visited this subway on 14th may around 3:30 pm . The service was terrible. The girl behind the counter, an Indian Gujarati girl with glasses, was extremely rude to me. I asked her to put extra veggies like bell pepper and lettuce on my sandwich, but she acted like it was a burden for her to do so. Her behavior was dismissive, as if I was just another customer that needed to be dealt with quickly so she could get back to whatever she was doing on her phone.To make matters worse, when I asked for a pizza, she told me it was out of stock. I don't know if she was lying or not, but the way she said it made me think that she just didn't want to make it. Her attitude made me feel like I was an inconvenience to her and that she was in a hurry to get rid of me.I have been to this subway many times before and usually order a veggie patty footlong, but this time, due to the lack of veggies, I was still hungry after I finished my sandwich. This girl was clearly not interested in selling food and didn't seem to care about providing good service to her customers.I would like to request that the manager takes strict action against this employee. She should be fired because of her poor customer service skills. If she is not interested in doing her job properly, then she has no business working at a place like Subway. Overall, I had a terrible experience at this location and would not recommend it to anyone because of this girl's behavior. Worst customer service among all the subway I went through."
