"The staff here is absolutely incredible. Beroniyca has a smile on her face every time that I walk in here. They have become THE spot for breakfast and lunch in our office! The Tokyo Chicken and Ahi Tuna Tower are both amazing! Also, their breakfast tacosare outstanding!"

"I recommend State and Allen if you are looking for a good meal with a super chill laif back environment. It is def more of a bar scene and great place to catch a game solo or with friends. We ordered the Cesar salad and lamb meatballs as starters, both were great. For entrees we ordered the Beef Tips and Roasted Salmom with ginger rice. Both emtrees were delicious but the beed tips stole the show. The service is where they could use a bit of improvement. Our waiter was honest that he was tired and ready to leave in the beginnimg so we knew that our experience would not be over the top but he genuinely put forth effort to push through so we were honestly ok and were understanding."

"Had Thanksgiving brunch, which we’ve done on and off for years. Sometimes with family, sometimes just the two of us. Hotel looked lovely. Greeted by friendly, happy people. Live music in the lobby and a nice assortment of breakfast, traditional thanksgiving and salads, snacks and dessert. Our main server was James, assisted by a few other pleasant and attentive employees. A few things missing from pre COVID such as crab claws and huge ice sculpture, but we were just glad to be there and thought the team did a great job in every way. A little pricey at just under $200 before tip. But felt very welcoming and festive. Other patrons were also on good behavior and we had not one complaint. Thank you and good job Melrose Thanksgiving crew"

"We can't say that this is a hospitality place. we visited 3 years ago or something. that eat something excellent. the chef is gone, we sat in the dining room. after 15 minutes we went to the decent bar and ask what's going on. the courteous bartender offered us the lunch in the bar, because the area is not open. Why don't they have a big sign to direct the parasols to the bar? that was the restaurant week! it doesn't look as if they need business. this location is more for from the city dwellers, so they scratch it from their lists when they are local. there are many restaurants to choose from. in addition, there are only parking possibilities and the road is in construction."
