"The service here is so bad that it’s almost comical. I’ve been here twice. The first time, the waitress seemed upset that I was there ordering. She prepared the food so slowly that I thought she was being passive aggressive. However, today I visited again because I figured that employee was gone. Well, the service was even slower than the first time, and the waitress seemed either frightened or incredibly shy. I ordered a smoothie and asked about bagels, but was told they were out (as was the case the first time) so I ordered toast instead. They were also out of the avocado pesto. The waitress informed me shyly and then stood silent while I asked about various options, most of which were also out of stock. Once I placed my order, she went into the back room for several minutes before emerging to make a smoothie. I do not know what she was doing back there, as I was the only customer. Then she disappeared for much longer to make a simple piece of toast. I really don’t know why they’re so shy, unfriendly, and poorly stocked at Gol. I won’t be showing up to wait another half hour for a simple breakfast anytime soon."

"The STRETTOS SPICY SALAMI was fantastic! One of the best sandwiches in Dayton!!! The honey was next level and the bread incredible. Tony was amazing made it spicy and it was a delicious heat! 10/10 recommend, the bread alone is an amazing standout for the area!"

"I love Wheat Penny. It’s a favorite spot for me and my coworkers to get carryout lunch or after-work dinner a beer or glass of wine. The service is always amazing; staff are knowledgeable about vegan, and they’re so friendly. The Eggplant Fries are super popular (skip the yogurt sauce) and they’re good, but they’re a bit on the salty side for me. Their pizza crust is phenomenal crispy on the bottom, and charred-chewy-air-pocket perfection on top. My tip: SKIP EVERYTHING ELSE and get the ‘Veganator’ pizza. The smoked jackfruit and cashew ricotta really elevate this vegan pie; it’s SO GOOD. The vegan items on this menu don’t feel like an afterthought. Updated from previous review on 2021-08-01"
