"The food here is beyond delicious!! We had the cheese platter as an appetizer. My daughter had the tacos (she raved about the mushroom taco), my son stepson had the blanco verde pizza I had the garlic cheese pizza. Everyone (including the meat eating boys) loved the food. Oh and they have these yummy spiked sorbets. You can't go wrong here!! Our server was awesome as well and joked with us the whole night...most definitely recommend"

"La Perla is a second generation owned Mexican restaurant. They proudly boost they have been in business since 1946 starting with Joe Eva Pompa as the original owners. A brief history the restaurant’s origin can be found on their take-out menu. They are open M-Th 7am to 11pm in the summer and to 12pm in the winter. Fri Sat 7am to 3am and Sun 7am to 10pm. A Mariachi band is present on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays. This Chihuahua-type Mexican cuisine offers catering as well. They have an extensive menu for breakfast, lunch and dinner and breakfast is available anytime. The restaurant has daily weekday dinner specials starting around the early evening. On my visit I ordered a combination meal containing a tostada, tamale, enchilada and a side of refried beans. The red pepper sauce was mild and upheld a spicy flavor. The tamale was somewhat salty but not all out of line. The restaurant was a feel that it is family operated with the friendliest staff. The food was plentiful here and the costs for most entrees are under $10. I will return here again to try their specially acclaimed chicken mole"
