"The waitress who served us was super friendly and helpful.The food was great! We tried every yakitori option, including the special chicken fatty heart, and they are all very good. Only area of improvement is the chicken wing was a little burnt.We also ordered the grilled Waugh beef, blue prawn and mushroom. They are all super delicious.Managed to explore 2 new types of Japanese beer and loved them.Finally, the matcha and chocolate soft serve with sesame caramelised walnut was soooooooooo good!"

"Food: 10/10 across the board Service: 10/10 floor manager even put down a screen to block the sun for us (qr code ordering. I 'd love to see them outside of their covid adaptation) Atmosphere: 10/10 Great experience. So many items to choose from it was hard to pick. But did not have a bad choice. I am pure salad was marvelous and a table favorite I am sharing was fantastic. I highly recommend asking for tortilla chips and the ones provided were to die for"

"My wife and I visit long beach once a year for a mess. we always make our way to dtla to visit bavel. the food, ambiente and customer service is always excellent! last night was not taken. Our Go-to-Menu elements are the oyster mushroom kebab, lamb neck skin and roasted flower cabbage. they are cooked to perfection and are delicious mouthwater! the restaurant offers a many number of seating counters, terrace, high back bar area and standard seats. we love the wine selection that changes regularly and the open kitchen offers a unique atmosphere. the mixologist at the bar is cool to watch as they make handmade drinks. the bar area is our favorite seating area because they can see the kitchen and bar mixologist in action. we highly recommend this restaurant. make sure to visit opentable for reservations as it is super-popies and also on weekdays! the host are friendly and professional and the waiting staff is always amazing. I appreciate the call on the day before to confirm our reservation. Go on!"

"Excellent place The food is great this was probably some of the tastiest rotisserie chicken I've had in a very long time. The accompanying sauces truly enhance the taste, and the roasted potatoes were a fantastic side. The service is prompt and friendly as well."

"After 25 years of going and eating meals at Chinatown, I at last made it to the plum tree inn. I always told myself that I would get the Peking duck when I finally made the trip but the Worm and I were in downtown one sunny mid-afternoon and were hungry so we went on a lark. This was the best time to go because we were the only ones in there. I remember when I lived downtown, Plum tree inn was closed for renovations. Those renovations were worth it , it is really nice inside. We had one of those classic Chinatown waiters, super pro, and he served up orange chicken for the worm as well as some delicious dumplings. All-in-all everything was delightful and delicious and delovely. There's really nothing better than eating a good meal in a big swank dining room that's utterly empty except for oneselves. I made a vow to the Worm that we should come back for the Peking duck and for some reason she agreed."

"I wanted to come here early and I am glad it wasn't too long of a wait. I got 2 kinds of sandwiches and my favorite one is the egg salad; both were super tasty and the buns superb. ????"
