"This was my first time coming here, but I had such a great experience. My family and I came for a special occasion and decided to get Course D. First of all, the service here is A+. The waiter cooks the meat for you and helps you in every way they can, so if you're not familiar with KBBQ culture, Soonwon will definitely make you feel comfortable. All the meat and food was above average or excellent as well. The highlight of my meal was definitely the naengmyun, both the cold and spicy ones. You know it's a good naengmyun when you don't have to add any vinegar or spicy mustard, and this was exactly that. The noodles aren't included in the Course meal, but I would definitely recommend getting some."

"We tried the tofu pad Thai and the braised beef panang curry and both were very good. The beef curry was definitely the better of the two. The pad Thai was a HUGE portion and not too sweet but I would have preferred much less noodles and more of the other ingredients, it was honestly way too much for any one person to eat, so it felt very wasteful. Maybe get the pad Thai if you are very hungry!"

"After 25 years of going and eating meals at Chinatown, I at last made it to the plum tree inn. I always told myself that I would get the Peking duck when I finally made the trip but the Worm and I were in downtown one sunny mid-afternoon and were hungry so we went on a lark. This was the best time to go because we were the only ones in there. I remember when I lived downtown, Plum tree inn was closed for renovations. Those renovations were worth it , it is really nice inside. We had one of those classic Chinatown waiters, super pro, and he served up orange chicken for the worm as well as some delicious dumplings. All-in-all everything was delightful and delicious and delovely. There's really nothing better than eating a good meal in a big swank dining room that's utterly empty except for oneselves. I made a vow to the Worm that we should come back for the Peking duck and for some reason she agreed."
