"What an amazing experience and night. We were out of town, and everyone welcomed us as if we were the local regulars. From the bouncers to the bar. I have to say this will be my way to move forward when I visit L.A.. Your drinks are phenomenal!! We must have sampled at least 6 different drinks, and ALL were impressive. Fresh ingredients, made before you. I will recommend ALWAYS this place if you are in downtown LA."

"The waitress who served us was super friendly and helpful.The food was great! We tried every yakitori option, including the special chicken fatty heart, and they are all very good. Only area of improvement is the chicken wing was a little burnt.We also ordered the grilled Waugh beef, blue prawn and mushroom. They are all super delicious.Managed to explore 2 new types of Japanese beer and loved them.Finally, the matcha and chocolate soft serve with sesame caramelised walnut was soooooooooo good!"

"My wife and I visit long beach once a year for a mess. we always make our way to dtla to visit bavel. the food, ambiente and customer service is always excellent! last night was not taken. Our Go-to-Menu elements are the oyster mushroom kebab, lamb neck skin and roasted flower cabbage. they are cooked to perfection and are delicious mouthwater! the restaurant offers a many number of seating counters, terrace, high back bar area and standard seats. we love the wine selection that changes regularly and the open kitchen offers a unique atmosphere. the mixologist at the bar is cool to watch as they make handmade drinks. the bar area is our favorite seating area because they can see the kitchen and bar mixologist in action. we highly recommend this restaurant. make sure to visit opentable for reservations as it is super-popies and also on weekdays! the host are friendly and professional and the waiting staff is always amazing. I appreciate the call on the day before to confirm our reservation. Go on!"

"Not much choices but tacos, the best of all steak with handmade tortillas. Tamales is an option. Quesadillas and Aguas frescas. Price felt just perfect from what you get."

"This is always a great place to go for a nice Italian meal. Romantic italian spot with the most amazing and unique pasta dishes at a great price. The pasta is always fresh and service was great and very attentive! I had been craving tiramisu for a while and this one did not disappoint. I'll be back soon! "I had a terrible experience at this bar. Not only did they open late, but their drinks were mediocre and tasted way too citrusy. Additionally, the bartenders strictly follow the menu and refuse to make off-menu items.The rude and inattentive waitress (Caucasian with pixie cut) told us that water is only served at the bar, despite walking around with a water pitcher and serving water to other tables. She even brought glasses of water to other tables but not to ours.To top it all off, the bar automatically charged a 20% gratuity even though the service was not deserving of it. And to make matters worse, there are no prices on the menu, leaving customers in the dark about how much they will be charged for their subpar experience.I would never recommend this bar to anyone and would strongly advise against wasting your time and money here."

"My family and I were visiting LA and decided to try Parks BBQ since they have a lot of good reviews. We all agreed that the meat quality was great. Although, the side dishes and kimchi jjigae were not as flavorful as expected. It is also really overpriced. Altogether, it was not a bad experience, just not the experience expected for the amount spent."
