"Used to be awesome, but it seems like they've switched from having their own drivers to using doordash for deliveries. The last few times I've ordered directly through Toppers website my order has been redirected through doordash. This makes the delivery time way higher and the food arrives either room temperature or straight up cold because most doordash drivers don't carry around a pizza bag to keep it hot while on the road. The food is still great as always but if you want it to be hot I'd say go pick it up yourself. If you want delivery definitely go somewhere else."

"This place wasn't worth the money at all. Our server was friendly but then ended up charging us for soup that we took one bite of and let her know we didn't like at all (the table next to us agreed that it was awful). It was disappointing that it wasn't taken off the bill as that would have been better customer service. The main courses were decent but nothing to write home about given the price. Good wine selection and cool that they have half bottles. Overall, my date and I left underwhelmed by our New Years Eve dinner."

"I've dined at Heritage Tavern 5-6 times and every dining experience I've had there has been wonderful. Recently, we went during Restaurant Week. . I loved the summer corn soup, cocktails, my pork dish and the dessert. Our server was friendly, helpful and enthusiastic. We also went recently for BRUNCH with some friends (and all of our kids (5 and the food was amazing. Our server was great and very accommodating with all of our children on one end of the table. Heritage Tavern is the first restaurant I tell out of town people to visit! and they have a great variety of foods beyond pork (check out the menu! . I'm going to try the Potato Gnocchi on my next visit. I highly recommend this restaurant! I feel like these days, the only time people write reviews are when they are negative so I wanted to share my positive experiences here. Heritage Tavern (and Chef Dan Fox is a restaurant in Madison, that I feel, truly cares about delivering an exceptional dining experience for their customers and this community."
