"Why change the fries?. What happened to the French fries? They changed from smaller to a more standard size and go a little heavy on the salt. Preferred the old style. "Super affordable. Biscuits are the best I ever had. The chicken in a sandwich is very small. Fast service. Feels more like fast food chain restaurant. I'd like to come back. Neat upgrade options and good variety as well. The kiosks are not as intuitive as I want them to be in the selection of food orders. Donuts are very expensive here."

"First trip to Nashville and first time to Hattie B’s. We had been hearing from locals that if you don’t eat spicy while in town you haven’t truly experienced the local culture. So we took the time to check out this Melrose location on our last night. My son and I both ordered chicken sandwiches and ordered a side of macaroni and cheese and fries. The side dressing of ranch was my preferred side. We also ordered a root beer float. The food was good and luckily it wasn’t as packed as some of the videos and reviews portray it to be. Wasn’t blown away, but it was good enough for 4 star. I may have given them 5 stars but the staff was slow to clean the table after the party before us left and that become our job."

"The best hot chicken I had in Nashville! I went with the hot for my meal and one of my friends ordered the spiciest on a wing that we split. The hot was a great mix of sweet, spice, and flavor. The hottest was just spicy. Not close to the worst I've tried, but it didn't taste like much. The sides were great and my root were float was excellent."

"Unfortunately the chicken tenders were not thoroughly cooked. My mom had to pick around getting the cooked meat thus she could not finish due to that. On a plus, the flavors and seasonings were outstanding!"

"Went with my friends for our annual mens trip somewhere and settle down on this local establishment. I had a fried chicken mild breast quarter with greens macaroni and cheese and a catfish dinner and it was pretty good can't say the chicken was as good as Prince's Hot Chicken Shack but it was good and I will probably return"

"We showed up about 20min before open and had about 10 people ahead of us. First time having hot chicken, so I have nothing to compare it to, but it was great! Ordered the small dark large , which is two leg quarters/thighs. Ordered spice level hot . Very moist and plenty of heat. I wouldn 't bother going higher in heat unless you just really enjoy that pain. Potato salad and Mac and cheese were great as well! Service was fast and they kept the line moving at a good pace."
