"This little venue is doing it right. Intimate vibe; food cooked to order in a small kitchen (you can see a lot of the action). Service was great. Call ahead for a reservation; they bent over backwards to get us in. Honestly, the food was not the best I've had recently but I would go back and try some other items. They obviously care about their craft and that goes far in my book. The rack of lamb was clearly a signature and impressed. The salad had a great house dressing but was very small. Frog legs app was just OK (sauce appeared oily or broken)."

"The best cocktails I ever had in my life. tara jill was an amazing bartender and her mixed qualities are from this world. I miss the red decoration in the bar lounge area."

"The menu is not very friendly. I know it's up, but a baked impact stick on the upper part of the green collar and a spoon of kartoffels is not equal to $30, I'm sorry."

"Why would you go to the French Market? Because NoLa visitors go here to see the random wares for Mardi Gras, pictures and paintings from artists and brightly colored baubles. Also, you go here for some good food. There are a few choices that are vegan friendly, which are noted here in the NoLa pages from Happy Cow, but here are the best choices: The Crepe Cart, The Organic Banana and Meals from the Heart Cafe. From these 3 places, you can get some tasty smoothies, crepes, sandwiches and snacks. Those are your best bets. Be careful as you walk around the market though, you'll see alligator heads and claws, as well as a lot of feathers on the masks."
