"Love this place. A well known fact is that there was an episode of Seinfeld based on this kitchen. They no longer have the notorious “no soup for you” policy, but still sell some related merchandise. Favorite soup: lobster bisque. Quite addictive."

"My friend brought some cookies back from NY. Had this place bookmarked but haven't had a chance to visit so I was happy to try it. They are sooo dense and heavy! I tried:Chocolate chip with walnuts: 4/5 omg soo much chocolate! I think it was 98.9% chocolate! A little to much for my taste. Dark chocolate: 4/5 lots of chocolate but I preferred this over the walnut one.Oatmeal raisin: 5/5 I was skeptical about liking this after seeing how big and puffy these looked but I really liked these. Great taste, sweet but not too sweet. Texture was dense, crunchy on the outside, doughy inside. I would definitely order these if when I go back to NYC.These are very very dense. I was only able to eat 1/4 of a cookie at a time."

"Overall great pizza, we grabbed three of the slice deals with drink, came in just over 20$.I liked the variety of slices, they did have to reheat but tasted good. There were some seats available at the time."

"I was born and raised in Texas and in my opinion, El Original, like most NYC Mexican restaurants, misses the mark. This would disappoint anyone looking for true TexMex. Salsa is bla. Food came out cold. A friends chile relleno had nothing inside. The queso tastes like cheese whiz."
