"One of the best bars in the city. I'm glad it's been able to keep it's personality through Jeremy his son. I love this place and the personality/attitude it has. I am glad it has found a need to re model itself and shape itself to fit the new trendy model. The beer is cheap and delicious. The food is cheap and also delicious. I have been going to this place for 6 years (even during the pandemic) truly one of the few places in NYC that deserves 5 stars."

"Our first time in NYC and they made us feel welcome. Everyone was so friendly. THE BEST cup of coffee I've ever had. We went in for a quick pastry and came back twice a day for the coffee. We will always make them a stop when we visit NYC."

"Found this pub after walking over the Brooklyn Bridge from Manhattan. Lovely spot to stop for a bite to eat and a few pints. It's an old-school local bar with a great atmosphere. Tasty food, great service and a really good atmosphere. If you're looking for somewhere for good grub and a few drinks while visiting Brooklyn, I recommend the Henry Street Ale House"
