"My family consists of my wife, four kids (10, 8, 4, 1) and myself. We go out to eat often. Never have I seen a service charge on my bill. At first I was wonder wtf is a service charge? Then after the math I came to realize that it was an automatic gratuity. I have seen on menus at other restaurants that parties over so many people a (usually 18) gratuity will be charged. But I didn 't see it on this menu. So let 's say I missed it. Fine. Aside from my wife and myself, they were kids. One of which didn 't even eat any of the restaurant food. BECAUSE HE 'S 1!!!! He sat on my wife 's lap 90 of the time. That 's just wrong. It 's not like we were all adults, ordering continuous rounds of booze, sides, appetizers. And the waitress had to actually hustle. Granted the waitress put on the charm, but I determine the percentage of what the tip should be. Not based on a head count of 4 kids. The food was mediocre. A kid 's ravioli had 4 ravioli on it. For $10. $2.50 a piece. You 've got to be kidding. My wife 's garden salad reminded her why she never gets oil and vinegar. It was swimming in it. The calamari was eh. The fried jalapenos with it is just a dumb idea. It 's says calamari with a kick. No you just added fried jalapenos to the plate. You did nothing to the calamari. The pizza was ok. A bit too saucy for my liking. And the garlic bread was nothing to write home about. It had this lumpy, grainy cream sauce they tried to pass off as a gorgonzola sauce. So all in all, this place is not worth the headache. It 's a rip off and I will not recommend it to anybody whatsoever. That said, stop riding the coat tails of the wonderful John 's Best that was on Westport ave. That great food and service can still be found at Pasta Fair on CT ave. When I walked in, I knew I was being mislead, because the real John 's Best would not have that crappy Wal-Mart decor while playing country And pop music, like this smoke And mirrors place did. And I hope it closes down due to these crooked practices. Oh. And F you Sue."
