"Just stayed at the Marriott for the Roger Waters concert and we slid down to the Shade Bar and Grill for a quick bite. We waited at the hostess stand for a couple of minutes. It looked like there were 2 bartenders, 1 waitress, and 2 bussers or food runners. I believe one of the hotel supervisors noticed us waiting and asked if we'd like a table. After confirming that we did, she let us know she'd grab some menus and be right back. She returned to escort us to our table and asked if we were there for the concert. I told her that we were and that we had been waiting since 2020....COVID. She told me they had just been told same day of the event. The hotel is walking distance from the venue, so they were filling up. Daniella was our server. She was absolutely lovely. The food was delicious. The bartenders were keeping their guests happy (and glasses in one piece . The food runner brought us hot, delicious looking burgers and sweet potato fries. (Yes, the taste was on point ? Despite the last minute influx of people everyone did a fantastic job making sure everything ran smoothly. Well done."

"No matter what I ordered, its always delicious. its island inspired and pretty accurate being that its Haitian Food, and Im Haitian. been eating here for many years. great food and great service. And on the 1st of January the soup Joumou was to die for. I love this place, I order at least 3 times a week."

"Really good and reasonably priced hibachi. I got chicken and shrimp with egg fried rice and noodles and also a chicken and steak hibachi meal. The yum yum sauce is the best part, really elevates the dish. I've had them numerous times and it's a casual alternative to Benihana's or Kobe's."
