Okay, so Cafe Rio may not have the authenticity of Red Iguana, Lone Star or Fridas it is NOT a formal sit down restaurant, more on par with a Pei Wei or Noodlestype of fast casual restaurant, and definitely more Tex Mexstyle cuisine. That being said, Cafe Rio is amazing! Anyone who can't tell the difference between the quality of Bajios or Costa Vida and Cafe Rio needs to give it another shot can you really not taste the amazingness that is their fresh, homemade tortillas? (FYI: Costa Vida stole all their original recipes from... Cafe Rio!! Only after a lawsuit ensued did they slightly alter their recipes. Who would want to support such a business?!
