"I was a party of 4 that had dinner at Barrachina. Appetizer was very good. Food was good. Service was quite good; server was very attentive and food came quick. This restaurant is considered the creator of the pina colada. Of course we ordered, but it was flat, not thick. Good value for the amount of food purchased. Atmosphere was better for a casual lunch rather than upscale for dinner. I still recommend if you are spending the day in Old San Juan."

"We couldn’t find our waiter half the time. The food took forever. Over 30 mins. We had to be somewhere so we had to take it home. The mofongo was dry. And they forgot my husband’s 2 sides. Very disappointed."

"Great place, food and service needs work. My wife ordered a Caesars Salad and the dressing was horrible, I ordered a skirt steak and the Chimichurri wasn’t made at the restaurant. Very informal service for such an expensive restaurant. Two people dinner no appetizers, on moderate bottle of wine, the tab was $180. Outrageous for that amount you can get a better restaurant. Sorry guys I don’t see a future in this place."

"Soooo glad we stopped here for lunch. Your menu is a bit overwhelming with so many options, but we told them what we wanted and they led us to a few options. The sandwiches and hamburgers were fresh and delicious. Also the Jalapeño sauce for our pommes, yum! The Fudge is homemade and a great way to finish your lunch. Really enjoyed talking to the owner. Absolutely for lunch!"

"A great bar with walls that can talk. A lot of nearby history as well. Had a fun time. Parking: Find a spot and park is the best option.
