"This place is a hole in the wall, but serves some of the best Indian food in the city. I had the lamb dogs, goats, and lamb saag and all were fantastic. lamb was perfectly cooked and the servier sizes are generous. the garlic is filled and crispy. I will be here regularly."

"The food is really good and the prices are affordable. I tried it as takeout last night for the first time and I ordered chicken and spinach for $12, eggplant for $10, and a chickpea side for 5. Omar was very nice... And even substituted coconut milk for cream in one dish. They have free delivery. So this place is a downstairs Pakistani dive and although there are a couple of tables, people generally get takeout or delivery. Doordash pickups were coming in and out as I was there so it's definitely popular. Best for the hot sauce, it's pretty hot and dense and a bit bitter."

"My friend and I were barricaded from the entrance by the maitre d who was no more than 2 inches from my body. It was as if she were trying to prevent us from entering the restaurant (we were appropriately dressed so that could not have been her excuse). She spoke with a false courtesy and hurried us to our table although the restaurant was not busy. Service was slow coming to our table, filling our order and bringing the requested check (40 minutes just for the appetizer, 20 minutes after we were done with the appetizer our main entree was brought and we were essentially abandoned after that I had to ask for our drinks to be refilled and ask for the check, which took another 20 minutes to come). We had 3 changes in waiters during the course of our meal (this did not occur with other customers) and a fourth waiter came gruffly to the table to ask what we had ordered after I requested the check. There was no air of apology and no polite request for our assistance to help him figure out the simplest thing any waiter should remember what your customer ordered. Why did we stay through all that, you ask? My friend was pregnant, it was hot, she had walked a couple miles and had to eat and sit. This restaurant seemed like a relaxing choice in the hub bub busy locality. Never having been before we presumed its fine dining appearance and over the top prices might award us a lovely end to our mommy's day out alas we were sorely wrong. Les Halles turned out to be an overpriced shack dressed up as a fine dining restaurant. I stayed because conversation with my friend was great and the baby was determined to taste a lamb steak (which was tough and overcooked). The only good thing about this restaurant was the escargot (snails). A sorry end to a great mommy's day out!"
