"Gyros are common now in the EU for decades. There are many levels of dining. This is a fast food, that eats as top quality. I loved it. Much to choose from, the gyro is outstanding. I stopped in as a joke, Bambi as a Disney character in the gyro was funny to me. Turns out this place is a staple to those that live in Aachen. Do try it, you will enjoy."

"Die RWTH hat sicherlich zahlreiche Technik-Studenten aus dem Iran, und so gibt es einen Markt für persische Küche in der alten Kaiserstadt. "Zarathustra" liegt am Karlsgraben, der Ringstraße, die an der Stelle der alten Stadtmauer die Kaiserstadt umrundet. Der Empfang durch die weibliche Bedienung ist sehr freundlich und entgegenkommend, und man fühlt sich gleich wohl. An einem Samstag mittag ist das Lokal nicht sehr voll. Die Speisekarte ist reichhaltig, aber nicht sehr umfangreich. Die Zahl der kalten und warmen Vorspeisen ist recht groß, die Zahl der Hauptgerichte um so geringer, aber besonders die Schmortopf-Gerichte haben es mir angetan. Man bekommt einen überreichlich vollen Teller mit Basmati-Reis, und dazu wie beim Inder die Schmortopf-Schale mit dem Fleisch und der Sauce. Der Schmortopf war sehr geschmackvoll, dennoch hatte ich eher den Eindruck, man habe mir Rindfleisch serviert statt des bestellten Huhns. Aber da Rindfleisch teurer ist als Huhn, beschwere ich mich nicht. Als ich satt war, war noch viel Reis übrig. Als hausgemachte Vorspeise hatte ich ein sehr leckeres Jogurt mit frischem Knoblauch. Ich bestellte mir noch einen Chai, der kam allerdings nicht, stattdessen kam die Rechnung. Ich war satt, hatte gut gegessen, und werde sicherlich einmal zurückkehren, um zu sehen, ob die kleinen Einwendungen sich bestätigen oder ein Ausrutscher waren. Mit einer Vorspeise, einem Hauptgericht, und einem Getränk kam ich auf etwas aber 20 Euro."

"We booked in late to a local hotel and didn’t want the hassle of going into town for food so our choice was limited. We found this place almost opposite our hotel, It was busy and it was buffet night but we were made to feel welcome. We helped ourselves to the buffet, it was quite late and I feel if we had been earlier the selection of dishes would have been larger but the food was good and inexpensive with a good red wine also. Couldn’t complain."

"Arguably the best restaurant I have ever been to in Germany. They make the best shawarmas in all of Germany. The trick lies in the AKL sauce which is like the best sauce in the whole world. I beg you to try the cheese rolls as a starter, followed by the grilled chicken on a skewer with the AKL sauce and fries. After coming out of the food coma, you should walk home to get rid of the feeling of guilt and pleasure which followed the food. Enjoy!"

"In polonia you get to very cheap trips good bourgeois Polish cuisine. so there are bigos, a herb stew and various sorts pierogi that either with cucumber and kartoffel, sour wort and champigons or meat. the dishes are all very tasty and there are day offers, so you get a drink free of charge."
