"Die Engstligenalp ist ein wunderschönes Naturgebiet. Ein grosses flaches (zum Teil Moor) Gebiet ist von Bergen umgeben.Im Sommer ist es toll zum Wandern und im Winter kann man Ski fahren.Das Skigebiet ist nur klein, aber für jeden Fahrer geeignet. Von einfach bis Könner.Für die Kits fängt das Abenteuer schon im Tal an. Sie dürfen mit der Globi-Seilbahn den Berg hoch. Oben können sie dann das Grosse Winter-Kinderparadies auskosten. Globi selber schaut zum rechten."

"Went to this hotel for dinner as Cambrian restaurant was closed on Sunday. Had a five course meal which was very enjoyable. Cant say price as Cambrian paid for it. The climb up to hotel is quite steep."

"Die Chüejer Stube der Brüder Gempeler liegt am Fuß des Lavay-Sessellifts. Neben einigen Bänken in Freien hat sie nur zwei kleine Stuben mit insgesamt 4 Tischen, an denen schon mal 30 Personen sitzen, wenn alle dicht zusammenrücken. Und das ist fast immer. Hier treffen sich die Schweizer, fast alles Stammgäste, die hier regelmäßig ihre Mittagspause machen.Zu essen gibt es in erster Linie Ravioli: mit Gemüse in Spinatteig, mit Kürbis in Mohnteig, mit Pilzen in Safranteig und noch viele mehr. Natürlich gibt es auch noch ein paar Dinge wie Gerstensuppe, Käseschnitte, Aufschnittplatten und natürlich die selbst gebackenenObst-Tartes. Und exzellente Weine. Und alles zu einem für dortige Verhältnisse sehr gutem Preis-Leistungsverhältnis. Nicht zu vergessen die immer gut aufgelegten jungen Bedienungen.Insgesamt der beste Platz für eine Mittagspause im Adelbodener Skigebiet."

"Good, solid food with friendly service. however, as everywhere in switzerland: 'normal' and 'solid' is not much less expensive than 'excellent' - therefore we preferred alfredo and the taverne."

"We had lunch here after a good walk in the mountains. Don 't expect any high cuisine, instead honest and good farm food served on a large terrace. There is a playing ground for children with a trampoline. We had a cheese and meat plate, an omelette, spaghetti bolognese and sausage/fries. All dishes were good hearty food. I 'd rate this restaurant between average and very good (say good , as it is everything expected on a mountain with the playground as a bonus, ."
