"I've never dined in, but they have been my solid delivery standby for the last 5+ years (with one lull pre-pandemic . Best value of food to price for Indian food in the north oakland/south Berkeley area. Yummy tikka masala, full aluminum tins of saag paneer and baingan bharta, and warm, full-size stuffed naan. Owned by such nice people and I've literally never had a mistake on my order. They went through a low point before the pandemic, so if you haven't ordered since then, give them another chance :"

"Came in for a late lunch. Service was prompt, friendly, and the atmosphere of the place is phenomenal. Food was delicious, packed with flavor. Will say, you so have to ask for sides because rice doesn't come with your food nor does it say anything on the menu but still- worth eating here!"

"I got Eaten up and down here! To put it in a nutshell, I would have to say Authentic South Indian Fare in a UNIQUE SETTING!!! The Dhaal Sambar is particularly good as the Rasam Pepperwater Soup. I had them over Doordash, too. Good coconut Chutney!!! I usually get 'The Dosa combination' that think a S.Indian Crepe with Masala Potato Onion Filling, it misses Curry leaves that you can buy locally Indian foods. You do ' Enhance Flavor'. Coffee service were good and also......It's a ' Heritage Building on Shattuck w High Ceilings and I hear they have a bar I appreciate Indian beers!!!! Supports them through the PANDEMIC Old Berkeley Institution! Use ' Live Indian Classical Music Nitely' over the street back to day!!!!"

"I walked in for lunch without any recommendations, and was pleasantly surprised! Their lunch buffet consists of about 10 different items, 50-50 split between meat items and vegetarian selections. I am particularly a fan of okra dishes, and their Bhindi masala was one of the best I've ever had. I highly recommend this place for lunch, especially for vegetarians."

"Good service that the waiter sometimes come to you and bring water. childa romantic when you go up and eat with your special someone generally ok food. what makes it unique is the all-you-can eat buffet for $6 and the spherical pancakes. The name means eating and drinking, which is quite ridiculous... but exactly. in person there are 4 stars, because for a poor Berkeley student who wants more friendly food and who wants to be full, the place is to go. other 3 stars..."
